Middle East Collection. One of five notable collections housed in UCM鈥檚 McClure Archives,
this collection of Middle Eastern artifacts and art is one of the nation鈥檚 most extensive.
- Study abroad: Take advantage of first-hand study abroad opportunities under the guidance of UCM
professors. UCM offers a 2.5-week program in Jordan and Israel, and our students can
enroll in a four-week program in Tunisia to learn more about ongoing transitions in
Africa. We also offer a Divided Cities program focused on topics including the political,
religious and cultural divides in Jerusalem, Berlin and Kansas City.

Anthropology and museum science expert
Dr. Clifford-Napoleone, Anthropology professor and past McNair scholar, serves as
director of UCM鈥檚 McClure Archives and University Museum, where she applies her expertise
in museum anthropology to maintain the Nance Middle East Collection. She welcomes
