Mathematics Minor

Non-BSE Mathematics Minor

Learn to analyze and solve complex mathematical problems in the University of Central Missouri’s Mathematics minor. You’ll take courses from faculty mentors who are experts in their fields — some of whom are even leading the way to improve mathematics education at the national level to ensure student success.

UCM’s Mathematics minor is a great fit for a wide variety of majors. It pairs particularly well with our bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Business and the social sciences, such as Psychology.

What you will study

In the Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ’s Mathematics minor program, you’ll learn problem-solving, analytical and critical-thinking skills that will help you work through any mathematical problem or intellectual exercise. Through undergraduate courses that train you in the deep-thinking techniques used in essential branches of mathematics, you’ll learn strategies for working through complex challenges that will complement your major program of study.
