The 欧美视频 Certified Medication Technician Development certificate program will prepare students to advance in their career and increase their value to employers. The course will include classroom work as well as clinical and exam components. Successful students will advance their CNA skills, qualifying them to work as certified medication technicians and insulin administrators in intermediate care or skilled nursing facilities. In addition, students will learn supervisory skills such as communication, delegation, relationship-building, problem-solving and handling conflict. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.

104 hours | 18 years of age or older; high school diploma or GED; minimum score of 9.0 on vocabulary, comprehension, mathematics concepts and application tests on the D level of the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE); six months of employment as CNA who is listed on Missouri State Nurse Assistant Register and who has a letter of recommendation from appropriate agency/individual; ability to pass background check |
Upon passing the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) exams, students will have the opportunity to earn their Certified Medication Technician (CMT) and Insulin Administration certifications from DHSS. Through this comprehensive course, you will learn everything from medical terminology to drug/insulin administration to supervisory skills.
