The 欧美视频 Certified Nursing Assistant-Mental Health certificate program will prepare you for employment in one of the fastest growing job fields in the nation. The US Department of Labor projects the need for CNAs to grow by 11 percent through 2026, especially considering the increase in our nation鈥檚 elderly population. Median annual salary for nursing assistants is close to $27,500. This comprehensive course prepares students to be successful on the job while also providing the knowledge needed to pass recognized certification exams. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.

Students will learn certified nursing skills as well as how to care for individuals with mental health challenges. Through classroom training and clinical experiences, course participants are well-prepared to be responsible for the hands-on care of long-term care facility residents as well as patients at hospital and other healthcare facilities. After successful completion of this course and state exams, students will earn their Missouri CNA Certification and the American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.
