Through the 欧美视频's Certified Nursing Assistant-Special Needs Advancement certificate program, students are prepared for meaningful and exciting careers in the fast-growing healthcare field. In addition to classroom, lab and on-the-job experiences, students successfully completing the course will receive several industry-recognized certificates. The need for certified nursing assistants is expected to increase by 11 percent through 2026, according to the US Department of Labor, with median annual salary at approximately $27,500. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.

Learn the skills needed to succeed as a certified nursing assistant while gaining specialized expertise. Students will learn how to care for residents of long-term care facilities as well as patients at hospitals, home and other settings. Specialized training includes working with patients with Alzheimer鈥檚 Disease and related dementia disorders. After successfully completing the course, students will earn the following state certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Special Needs Assistant, Certified Level 1 Medication Aide and Certified Insulin Administration. Graduates will also receive their Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
