UCM students combine their math skills with a wide array of interests to prepare for jobs that rely upon the study and analysis of statistics. Our Ph.D.-level faculty in Statistics and Mathematics are active researchers who will work closely with you to help tailor your coursework to concentrate on sports, health care, finance, education or other areas that interest you, so you’ll hit the ground running following graduation. As a UCM graduate, you may work in fields such as IT, bioanalytics, financial risk assessment or other areas where you’ll conduct research and offer expert analysis using industry-standard software.
UCM Statistics offers two fields of study
As an undergraduate student in your junior year, you can select an option to earn an accelerated master’s degree at UCM: In just five years, you can graduate with both a BS in Actuarial Science and Statistics and MS degree in Mathematics through the Actuarial Science and Statistics option.
