Registration is now being accepted for the one-day session, which takes place in Room 235 of the Elliott Student Union.

Kansas City educator and nationally recognized speaker and consultant Cynthia 鈥淢ama J鈥� Johnson will be the keynote speaker for the 欧美视频鈥檚 annual Freedom Scholarship Dinner, planned for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, in the Elliott Student Union ballroom. The event is the highlight of the university鈥檚 annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration, 鈥淓quality and Education Still Matter.鈥�

UCM Alumni Foundation Funds New RedMan Suit for Police Academy
The Central Missouri Policy Academy at the 欧美视频 obtained critical new equipment this semester for safer student training of defensive tactics. A UCM Alumni Foundation Opportunity Grant funded the purchase of a full instructor鈥檚 RedMan Suit and 24 padded training batons. Unrestricted gifts from donors made the grant possible.

Long Reappointed to Governing Board for One Year
The Office of Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon this week announced the reappointment of Mary Long, Kansas City, to the 欧美视频 Board of Governors. Pending confirmation of the appointment by the Missouri Senate, Long will serve on the board through Jan. 1, 2017.
