UCM Student Earns National FFA Accolades for Agriscience Research Project Involving Beef Steak
While the 欧美视频 encourages undergraduate research and collaboration with faculty members, one UCM student has already gained national recognition for a project that he began months before becoming a university freshman. Spencer Vossler, a third generation family member to attend the university, this fall finished in the top 10 for his entry in the Agriscience Fair that took place as part of the 95th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

ARPA Grant Creates Opportunity for UCM to Establish Five Certificate Programs That will Prepare More Individuals for Missouri's Ag Workforce
Today, Governor Mike Parson announced a $2 million grant award for the 欧美视频 from the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (MDHEWD) as part of a larger $20 million funding effort. Nearly two dozen postsecondary institutions were selected to provide high-demand career training for new and underrepresented populations and to address the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on agriculture and supply chains.

Murray State Educator Assumes New Role Leading UCM Agriculture Programs
Michelle Mullins Santiago, Ph.D., an educator who has been actively engaged in teaching agribusiness and economics continuously since 2008, will join the 欧美视频 as the chair of its academic agriculture program. UCM Provost and Vice President for Academic Affair Phil Bridgmon announced her appointment, noting that Santiago officially begins her new duties July 1, 2022.
