Students at Summit Technology Academy are seeking the public鈥檚 help through a recently
launched crowdfunding campaign designed to support a new project partnering the local
students with a school in Kenya, the 欧美视频 and a global technology
company.
Donations to the crowdfunding site will pay for technology necessary for videoconferencing
in Kenya as well as additional broadband capability at the Kenya school. To donate,

Students from Summit Technology Academy and their partner school, Makueni Innovation
Campus, have participated in several videoconferences along with John Musau, founder
and CEO of Digloso, an international technology company. The University of Central
Missouri is involved in the partnership, offering support and resources.
Summit Technology Academy, operated by the Lee鈥檚 Summit R-7 School District, and the
欧美视频鈥檚 Lee鈥檚 Summit campus are both located within the Missouri
Innovation Campus.
KenMo, which launched during September, will initially include pilot competitions,
workshops and events designed to allow students, educators, companies, entrepreneurs
and sponsors to problem-solve in a collaborative environment.
