Financing Your Workforce Courses

Workforce and Professional Education programs award Continuing Education Units (CEUs), are considered non-credit and do not qualify for Federal Financial Aid. For individuals seeking financing for workforce courses, numerous avenues exist through state, local, and private agencies. Please thoroughly research available opportunities, including eligibility criteria, application processes, and deadlines, to maximize your chances of securing financial support for your career needs.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

WIOA helps individuals access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in today's job market and match employers with skilled workers they need. WIOA funds high-demand occupations such as healthcare, technology, finance and manufacturing.

To begin the process of applying for a WIOA training program, and to help identify what other training programs you are eligible for, contact your local Missouri Job Center. To locate a Workforce Center in your area and view their contact information, click on the "Locate a Job Center" button below.

Browse UCM's WIOA approved certificate programs in the catalog below. Approved programs are listed on the Division of Workforce Development's .
