University Members Traverse 150 Miles in Under 150 Minutes to Celebrate UCM Milestone

The 欧美视频 School of Nutrition, Kinesiology and Psychological Science recently held an athletic event to promote health and fitness while honoring the university鈥檚 150th anniversary. The event, UCM 150 Celebration Team Challenge, charged a group of students and faculty with the opportunity to simulate traveling 150 miles in 150 minutes with human power.

UCM Faculty Research Article in 'Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare' Demonstrates Perceived Psychological Impact of COVID-19 on 'College Athletes'

For college athletes and members of other student groups the perceived anxiety surrounding the beginning of a new academic year in times of COVID-19 evokes emotions some students equate with those associated with major events such as a significant injury, surgery, or even losing a loved one. These are among the findings reported in a recent research paper published in the 鈥淛ournal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare鈥 conducted by a research team that included three 欧美视频 faculty members, a former graduate assistant, and a faculty member at an Ohio institution.
