Maintaining compliance with funders and federal regulations pertaining to grants, contracts, human subjects research, and animal subjects research is critical for the 欧美视频 to continue these activities. OSPRI acts to ensure grant and research integrity at UCM by monitoring and reporting the results of compliance/ethics efforts by the faculty, staff, and students. OSPRI is responsible for overseeing the Human Subjects Committee (IRB), Animal Subjects Committee (IACUC), administering compliance training including Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI), and additional regulations including export control and biosafety.
OSPRI ensures that grants and contracts comply with federal, state, institutional,
and other funder regulations. Principal Investigators (PI) are required to complete
necessary RCR training, submit FCOIs annually, certify on time and effort reporting,
monthly budget reporting, and approve expenditures.
Additionally, key project personnel are required to disclose Foreign Talent Recruitment
Program participation.

The Human Subjects Committee (IRB) reviews and approves research involving human participants
well as determining if research does not qualify as eligible for human subjects.
Researchers must complete training to ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional
regulations and policies.
